The present invention provides a method for transmitting and receiving a group message in a wireless communication system and a device therefor. Specifically, a method for receiving, by a terminal, a group message in a wireless communication system may comprise the steps of: receiving, from a network node, help information indicating whether a paging message is to be transmitted to each terminal group; receiving, from the network node, the paging message at a paging occasion of the terminal when the help information indicates that a paging message for a group to which the terminal belongs is to be transmitted; and receiving the group message when group message transmission for the group to which the terminal belongs is activated by the paging message.
