Provided is a linear motion guide device which is reduced in contact surface pressure between balls and a track groove so as to be resistant to the occurrence of edge loading even when a slider is loaded with any of pressing load, tensile load, and lateral load. An upper flank (20U) and a lower flank (20L) which are disposed in track grooves (10, 11) of a guide rail (1) and a slider (2) have the following: a main arc portion (21) which is arc-shaped in cross section and located generally at the center in the width direction of the flanks (20U, 20L); a groove shoulder side sub-arc portion (23) which is arc-shaped in cross section and continually formed toward a groove shoulder of the main arc portion (21); and a groove bottom side sub-arc portion (25) which is arc-shaped in cross section and continually formed toward a groove bottom of the main arc portion (21). Further, the radius of curvature (r2p) of the groove shoulder side sub-arc portion (23) is different from the radius of curvature (r2m) of the groove bottom side sub-arc portion (25). |
