The invention relates to a method for installing a wind turbine to upgrade an existing wind farm and the wind turbine obtained, the method comprising: removing the blades, turbine and tower of the wind turbine to be replaced, keeping the first foundation (1) and the foundation elements (6) embedded therein; executing a second circumscribed foundation (2) in contact with the first foundation (1); providing anchorage elements (3) in the second foundation (2); securing the first foundation (1) to the second foundation (2) through securement means; anchoring a first section (9) of the tower of the new wind turbine to the anchorage elements (3) provided in the second foundation (2); and installing a turbine, blades and the rest of the tower on the first section (9) thereof to obtain a functional new wind turbine. |
