A band-pass filter or rejector, e.g. for use as the I.F. panel of a television receiver, comprises an insulating panel 11 having coil formers 3a, 3b, supporting coils 1a, 2a, respectively, inserted in holes in the panel. Resistors 6a, 8a, and capacitors 7a, 9a, 10a are mounted, as by plugging-in, on the same side of the panel as the coils, and the components are interconnected by printed wiring 12 on the opposite side of the panel. The coils, which form variable inductors, are provided with adjustable dust iron or similar solid cores, and are covered by screening cans (not shown). Fig. I (not shown) depicts a prior art arrangement.
