PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To allow seamless transition from using of one electronic device to using of another electronic device.SOLUTION: An electronic device detects a compatible external device by radio 902, and the external device, when it is executing a first application or has executed it once, receives use information about the application from the external device 904. Based on the information, an affordance for user selection is displayed 906, and upon selection of the affordance 908, a second application corresponding to the first application is triggered on the electronic device 910. A second application which is a different version of the first application is triggered, and further, the second application is made into the same condition as the first application. If an electric mail is being drafted on the external device, the electronic device may trigger an electric mail editor representing drafting. |
