PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce mechanical trouble and reduce cost in separating a mixture of a fluid medium and foreign matters discharged from a fluidized bed incinerator into the fluid medium and the plurality of foreign matters.SOLUTION: A foreign matter separation device of a fluidized bed incinerator separates a mixture M of a fluid medium and a foreign matter B discharged from a furnace bottom of the fluidized bed incinerator, and discharges the separated foreign matter M to an outside of a system. The foreign matter separation device includes: a casing 1 in which the mixture M discharged from the furnace bottom of the fluidized bed incinerator is input; flowing air blowing means 3 which blows flowing air A for forming a fluid bed 2 formed of the fluid medium in the casing 1; sieving-sorting-collecting means 5 which is arranged in the casing 1, and sieves the input mixture M by a sieve 4, collects the foreign matter M larger than a sieve mesh and discharges to the outside of the system. Sieving sort by the sieve 4 and specific gravity difference sort by the fluid bed 2 are combined, and the sieving sort and the specific gravity difference sort are carried out simultaneously to separate the mixture M into the fluid medium and the foreign matter B.
