According to one embodiment of the present invention, an image display device is provided with an image display unit, a calculation unit, and a notification unit. The image display unit has an output surface, and displays an image by outputting light from the output surface. The calculation unit calculates a reference distance from the output surface, said reference distance being to be reference for determining influence of the output light outputted from the image display unit. On the basis of the reference distance thus calculated, the notification unit notifies information relating to the influence of the output light. |
