The invention relates to coated materials, the coating comprising nanostructures of a metal selected from gold, silver, palladium, platinum, ruthenium, rhodium, osmium, iridium, copper, chrome and any combination thereof. The invention is characterized in that more than 45 % of the nanostructures have a diameter of less than 50 nm, and the distribution of the diameters of the nanostructures has a standard deviation of more than 5 nm in the range of 0 to 50 nm. |
