PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electronic control device including a cache memory into which the same data is written as the data written in a RAM, performing memory check by only invalidating a cache memory corresponding to an object address for memory check of the RAM.SOLUTION: The electronic control device performs: selecting an ineffective signal (L:0) for input to a valid bit control unit 50 by a valid ineffective instruction (processing 1); executing a write instruction (processing 2); setting a valid bit of the corresponding entry of the cache memory 40 to zero by the write instruction since the output of the valid bit control unit 50 is zero as the ineffective signal (L:0) is selected; executing a valid effective instruction to select an effective signal (H:0) (processing 3); and reading data for memory check from the RAM 60 since a valid bit of the corresponding cache memory 40 is zero when a read instruction is executed (processing 4). |
