PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a pipe groove aligning apparatus capable of efficiently correcting the misalignment in a radial direction of a pipe axis, and reliably performing the centering between pipes when performing groove alignment between pipes.SOLUTION: A first structural jig 2 and a second structural jig 3 are fixed to pipes 4 and 5 opposed to each other respectively. The first structural jig 2 is fixed to the pipe 4 by a clamp 2b that connects gripping claws 2a of the first structural jig 2 by fixing jigs 2c. In the same way, the second structural jig 3 is fixed to the pipe 5 by a clamp 3b that connects gripping claws 3a of the second structural jig 3 by fixing jigs 3c. While tapered faces 6 formed on the gripping claw 2a are caused to slidably contact tapered faces 7 formed on the gripping claws 3a, the first structural jig 2 and the second structural jig 3 are brought close to each other so that the centering between the pipes 4 and 5, and the adjustment of the distance between the grooves of the pipes 4 and 5 can be easily performed. |
