PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To display any medical image data in a display condition suitable for an area to be observed, by a simple operation.SOLUTION: A display control device for displaying medical image data uses a reduction image obtained from medical image data thereby to generate a thumb nail to be used for selecting medical image data. A partial area is set to the thumb nail in accordance with an anatomical area acquired from medical image data. The display control device, in accordance with an instruction to select a displayed thumb nail, acquires a display condition corresponding to the partial area specified by the instruction, and allows display means to display the medical image data using the acquired display condition. |
