1. An actuator comprising:
a planar movable portion; a supporting portion which supports the movable portion; and a torsion bar which connects the movable portion and the supporting portion along a longitudinal direction thereof such that the movable portion swings around a rotational axis which is along the longitudinal direction, a rib being formed on a surface of the movable portion, the rib maintaining a flatness of the movable portion, the movable portion having a protruding portion near a connecting portion between the torsion bar and the movable portion, the protruding portion protruding in a direction along the surface and protruding toward an outside of the movable portion than a surrounding area portion, at least one portion of the rib being formed on the surface to extend on the protruding portion.
