1. A power feeding device comprising:
a power feeding coil configured to provide power fed to a power receiving device via a magnetic field; and a power feeding control section configured to receive a control signal from the power receiving device to control the power fed to the receiving device, wherein the power receiving device includes a power receiving coil, an alternating-current power supply and a foreign matter detecting section, the power receiving coil being configured to receive the power, the alternating-current power supply being configured to apply an alternating voltage to the power receiving coil, and the foreign matter detecting section being configured to generate an amount of change in impedance of the power receiving coil from a current induced in the power receiving coil to which the alternating voltage is applied and the alternating voltage, and detect foreign matter between the power receiving coil and the power feeding device on a basis of the amount of change. |
