Multiple Virtual Machines in a Mobile Virtualization Platform

Systems and methods are described for embodiments of a mobile virtualization platform (MVP) where in some aspects a wireless mobile device including multiple virtual machines (VMs) may receive data from a remote content provider and process/execute the data using an appropriate virtual machine. In some examples, the MVP may facilitate communication between and coordination among different virtual machines in the MVP, such as to facilitate optimization of data processing/execution.

1. A method comprising:
processing, by a first application using a wireless device having a first virtual machine, first data received from a content provider system over a first wireless network receiving, by the wireless device from the content provider system, a second virtual machine, wherein the second virtual machine is associated with a second wireless network; installing the second virtual machine on the wireless device, wherein the second virtual machine is configured to execute applications created for a predetermined operating system; receiving, by the wireless device from the content provider system, a second application, wherein the second application is configured to execute on the second virtual machine, and wherein the second application is based on a user profile associated with the wireless device; installing the second application on the second virtual machine; and communicating the first data to the second virtual machine.
