This infrared gas analysis device is provided with: a measuring cell through which flows a sample gas that contains a component to be measured; a comparison cell having a reference gas; a pair of light sources provided at a first end side of the measuring cell and the comparison cell, the light sources respectively irradiating the measuring cell and the comparison cell with infrared light; and a detection unit provided at the other end side of the measuring cell and the comparison cell, the detection unit using the infrared light exiting from the measuring cell and the comparison cell to detect the component to be measured. Within the detection unit is sealed a detection gas that comprises a component different from the component to be measured, and that has an infrared absorption band at least at some of the frequencies of the infrared absorption band of the component to be measured. |
