CAPSULE TYPE ENDOSCOPE FOR RADIATION DETECTING AND CONTROL METHOD THEREOF

The present invention relates to a capsule type endoscope capable of detecting radiation and a control method thereof. The capsule type endoscope capable of detecting radiation comprises: a charge-coupled device (CCD) camera for obtaining internal body images of an examinee; a radiation detector for detecting radiation radiated from the internal body; and a wireless communications control unit which transmits radiation dose detected by the radiation detector and the images obtained by the CCD camera to a control terminal. In addition, the control method of the capsule type endoscope comprises the following steps: (a) obtaining internal body images of an examinee by the CCD camera; (b) measuring radiation from the internal body of the examinee by the radiation detector; and (C) transmitting the images and measured radiation dose to the control terminal.
