PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To simply, excellently provide a catalyst layer on a solid polymer electrolyte membrane from an economical point of view.SOLUTION: In a method of manufacturing a membrane catalyst layer structure for a fuel cell, a paste 58 for a catalyst layer is mounted on a heating plate 62 after coating on a transfer base material 50. In such a case, an outer peripheral portion of the paste 58 for the catalyst layer is arranged downward of a central portion of the paste 58 for the catalyst layer via a step part 64. After drying treatment is performed in such a state, on both surfaces of a solid polymer electrolyte membrane, the catalyst layer is transferred from the transfer base material 50, respectively. |
