PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide systems and methodologies that facilitate guard bandwidth independent mapping and de-mapping of the bandwidth in a wireless communication system.SOLUTION: A broadcast message is encoded into a plurality of broadcast symbols 502; and broadcast symbols are mapped to entire-bandwidth tones 504. Next, guard tones are set to zero 506, the broadcast symbols/tones are transformed to a time domain 508. Subsequently, the transformed broadcast symbols/tones are transmitted as a broadcast signal 510. |
