PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a vacuum cleaner that has a cyclone dust collection unit which makes the body compactly structured and which can obtain a high separation performance for the user.SOLUTION: The vacuum cleaner includes: a suction port body; a suction pipe; a hose that has a grip and that communicatively joins to a connection pipe for connecting to the suction pipe; a cleaner body; and a cyclone dust collection unit having functions that separate and capture by a swirling force to internally accumulate dust from dust-containing air which is sucked from the suction port body through the operation of a motor-driven blower. The hose is fixed to the cleaner body in the center in the width direction of the cleaner body and in a part lower than the cyclone dust collection unit, and is arranged to comprise a part of an air channel in a manner that the dust-containing air is sent inside the cyclone dust collection unit from an inflow port through the center and the lower part in the width direction of the cyclone dust collection unit. The hose is, by moving it with the grip, configured to move wheels connected to the cleaner body and to manipulate the position and the direction of the cleaner body. |
