PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an imaging apparatus that includes a camera unit, as an imaging section, capable of rotating around a shaft with respect to a main body and can perform different imaging processing depending on an imaging direction of the camera unit.SOLUTION: An imaging apparatus comprises: a main body section; a display section; a first imaging section that is disposed on the main body in a stationary manner and images a subject to generate first image data; a second imaging section that can rotate with respect to the first imaging section and images the subject to generate second image data; an image processing section for performing processing of superposing an image shown by the second image data on an image shown by the first image data; and a control section for making the display section display a superposition image obtained by the superposition processing.
