PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To overcome a conventional problem that the compression efficiency of a compressor greatly degrades since heat of refrigerant in a muffler space is transferred to refrigerant within the inlet hole of a cylinder.SOLUTION: A compressor 1 of the present invention comprises: a rear cylinder 14 including a compression chamber 31 formed therein; a rear head 15 disposed on an end surface of the rear cylinder 14; and a muffler member 18 with a second muffler space 19 being formed between the muffler member 18 and the rear head 15. The rear cylinder 14 includes an inlet hole 32 for supplying refrigerant to the compression chamber 31. In the second muffler space 19, a heat insulation space 53 partitioned by ribs 51 and 52 is provided so as to make it difficult for the refrigerant to enter the heat insulation space 53, and the heat insulation space 53 overlaps the inlet hole 32 in a plan view. |
