PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image display body making device, an image display body and an individual authentication medium which enable the formation of a precise image in image formation by a direct thermal transfer system using a hologram ribbon and also make it possible to express a gray-scale image using a thermal head print technique.SOLUTION: An image display body making device 1a makes an image display body including an individual information recording layer obtained by thermally transferring a hologram ribbon 2 to a transferred substrate 3 held on a transfer roll 16, the device including a deburring part 13a that removes burrs which are the remainder of the hologram ribbon 2 generated in the individual information recording layer. |
