PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a decontamination method of radioactive substance capable of improving decontamination efficiency on piping inner face and recovery efficiency of waste water even in a closed circumstance such as a piping.SOLUTION: The decontamination method is a method for removing radioactive substance from the inner face of a piping 7 by shooting pressured decontamination agent from a nozzle 1. The decontamination method includes the steps of: identifying the position of the radioactive substance on the inner face of the piping 7; setting a discharge pressure of the decontamination agent required for removing the radioactive substance, which is output from the nozzle 1 provided to a mobile unit 20a moving within the piping, according to the position of the radioactive substance; and shooting the decontamination reagent from the nozzle with the discharge pressure to remove the radioactive substance.
