PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a color fluctuation monitoring device capable of monitoring color fluctuation from a past output result even if image data of a print request received in the past is not retained, when receiving a print request for the same image data again.SOLUTION: A color fluctuation monitoring device includes: reception means 20 for receiving a print request of image data along with attribute information; monitoring-zone setup means 23 for setting a monitoring zone for color fluctuation to the image data and generating characteristic information of the monitoring zone from the image data; monitoring-information generation means 24 for inputting chromaticity data corresponding to an image output on the image data and generating monitoring-information of the monitoring-zone from the chromaticity data; determination means 25 for determining identicalness between pieces of image data of print requests received by the reception means 20 in different periods of time on the basis of the attribute information, and positional information and characteristic information of the monitoring-zone; and color fluctuation monitoring-means 26 for monitoring, based on the monitoring-information, color fluctuation between the pieces of image data determined as identical by the determination means 25.
