A curved backlight assembly, comprising a light source (1), a curved light guide plate (2), a heat dissipation plate (3) with a preset curvature radius, a support plate (4) with a preset curvature radius, and a connecting piece (5); the light source (1) contacts the end of the curved light guide plate (2); the heat dissipation plate (3) and the support plate (4) are connected via the connecting piece (5) to form a curved back plate (20); the curved light guide plate (2) is disposed on the curved back plate (20); the connecting ends of the heat dissipation plate (3) and the support plate (4) are respectively provided with an elongated slot (6); the connecting piece (5) passes through the elongated slot (6) so as to connect the heat dissipation plate (3) and the support plate (4); the size of the curved back plate (20) is increased or decreased along with the relative shift between the heat dissipation plate (3) and the support plate (4) so as to coordinate with the expansion or contraction of the curved light guide plate (2). The curved backlight assembly has a simple structure, shortens the light-coupling distance between the light source (1) and the curved light guide plate (2), and improves light transmitting efficiency. |
