PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an optical element free from degradation even if an ultraviolet ray is radiated onto an ultraviolet cure adhesive.SOLUTION: An optical element of the present invention is an optical element formed of plastic and comprising a portion 101 that functions optically and an attachment portion 103 including a surface 107 for attaching the optical element to a different component, the optical element being configured so that a microscopic irregular structure 105 for which a length between a convex portion and a concave portion adjacent to each other or between adjacent convex portions is smaller than a wavelength of an ultraviolet ray used for an ultraviolet ray cure adhesive for attaching the optical element to the different component is provided on at least part of a surface of the attachment portion 103 other than the surface 107 for attaching the optical element to the different component, and a path is present such that an external light ray passes through the microscopic irregular structure 105, a plastic material of the attachment portion 103, and the surface 107 of the attachment portion 103 for attaching the optical element to the different component in this order. |
