The invention relates to a device (1) for flow deflection (2) for a turbomachine (3), in particular for a multi-stage compressor (3), such as a geared turbocompressor (3), and to a method for producing such a device (1). The device (1) comprises a first and a second tubular flow deflection segment (4, 8), which comprise a first and a second flow inlet opening (5, 9) and a first and a second flow outlet opening (6, 10) and a first and a second segment longitudinal axis (7, 11), respectively. The first flow outlet opening (6) of the first flow deflection segment (4) is connected to the second flow inlet opening (9) of the second flow deflection segment (8) in such a way that the second segment longitudinal axis (11) is tilted by a specifiable tilt angle (12) in relation to the first segment longitudinal axis (7). In order to realize a simple and economical device (1), the first and/or the second flow deflection segment (4, 8) has, along the segment longitudinal axis (7, 11) thereof, a first or second inner cross-section change (13, 14). According to the method, a conical tube (23) is divided into two tube segments (4, 8) by means of a miter cut (15, 16) and the two tube segments (4, 8) are connected to each other at the miter cuts (15, 16) thereof. |
