The present invention relates to a robot simulator capable of easily checking or distributing a simulation result and a file generation method for a robot simulator. According to an aspect of the present invention, the robot simulator comprises: a job information obtaining unit, an image generation unit, a playback information generation unit, and an output unit. The job information obtaining unit is a motion command group to a robot, and obtains job information including a plurality of target points which a robot should pass through. The image generation unit generates a virtual three-dimensional image in a three-dimensional space of a robot system including the robot for each motion command. The playback information generation unit generates playback information which is information to continuously play the three-dimensional image as an animation by being interlocked with the job information. The output unit generates and outputs an output file including the three-dimensional image and the playback information as an electronic document form which can be read for a general purpose. |
