PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce the effect of a bleeding part 27a of a metallization layer 27 for ring brazing in a crystal oscillator 50 using a ring cavity-type ceramic base.SOLUTION: A piezoelectric vibrator 50 includes: a ceramic plate 61; a metal frame body 23 bonded to the ceramic plate 61 via a metallization layer 27; a piezoelectric piece 30 received inside a recessed part 60a that is configured of the ceramic plate and the frame body; and a lid 40 bonded to the metal frame body 23. The piezoelectric vibrator further includes a coating layer (ceramic layer) 63 covering a bleeding part 27a of the metallization layer, in a region corresponding to the inside of the recessed part 60a on the ceramic plate 61.
