PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method which can remove trace anilines from catalytically-cracked gasoline under mild conditions and with high efficiency.SOLUTION: The method for removing trace anilines from catalytically-cracked gasoline comprises using a solid acid as an adsorbent, the solid acid having a ratio (I/I) of an area Iof a peak (1450±10 cm) due to a Lewis acid point to an area Iof a peak (1540±10 cm) due to a Broensted acid point, as measured by pyridine adsorption Fourier transform infrared spectroscopy, of 1.0 or more. |
