PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a polymer having a high excited triplet level and a high glass transition temperature, and used for a positive hole transport material, a positive hole active material or a host material; and to provide a highly efficient organic EL element using the polymer.SOLUTION: An arylamine polymer is used, which is obtained by generating debromination condensation by using a transition metal catalyst, between, for example, 3,10-dibromo-4bα,8b&bgr;,13,14-tetrahydrodiindeno[1,2-a:2',1'-b]indene as an aromatic dibromo compound, and N,N'-di(4-methylphenyl)-1,3-phenylenediamine as an aromatic diamine compound. |
