1. An implantable electrolytic pump comprising:
a drug chamber for containing a liquid to be administered; a cannula in fluid communication with the drug chamber; an electrolysis chamber comprising first and second electrodes and circuitry for activating the electrodes and thereby causing a pressure in the drug chamber to change; and a valve having a predetermined cracking pressure, wherein the liquid is forced from the drug chamber through the cannula when the pressure in the drug chamber exceeds the predetermined cracking pressure. |
