A method for acquiring an OSD theme file, a method for providing the OSD theme file, a digital television, a cloud server and an update system for the OSD theme file, which are used for enabling the digital television to acquire the OSD theme file from the cloud server through a network in real time. The method for acquiring an OSD theme file comprises: a digital television sends to a cloud server a request instruction for visiting an OSD theme file library; the digital television visits the OSD theme file library of the cloud server through a link path that is established by the cloud server for the digital television according to the request instruction; the digital television selects at least one OSD theme file in the OSD theme file library; and the digital television obtains the OSD theme file selected by the digital television according to an access path that is generated by the cloud server for each OSD theme file selected by the digital television. |
