The present converter comprises a rotating rotor (4) and a rod (3), which moves reciprocally in parallel or at a slight incline to the axis of the rotor (4). Rod magnets (2) and rotor magnets (1) are mounted on the rod (3) and the rotor (4) respectively. Like poles or a single pole of a rotor magnet (7) or a rod magnet (6), oriented toward the rod (3) or the rotor (4) respectively, are situated along a closed line (5) which has at least one maximum and one minimum in the direction of the axis of rotation of the rotor (4), while the pole of the rod magnet (6) or the rotor magnet (7) which lies opposite said poles of the rotor magnet (7) or the rod magnet (6) respectively is of a size, along the axis of the rotor (4), which does not exceed the distance from the minimum to the maximum of the aforementioned closed line along the axis of the rotor (4) and is of opposite polarity. The converter is a contactless converter which has an output torque vector parallel to the axis of rotation of the rotor and generates output torque in one direction only. This makes it possible to use the converter in motors and to use motors based on such a converter in vehicles. |
