The present invention is a device for generating a travel route of a working machine for performing predetermined work while traveling through a route formed when ends of at least a plurality of substantially parallel routes are linked to one another via reverse routes in an intended work area, wherein the ends are located in the vicinity of an intersection between the route and an outer periphery of the intended work area, and the travel route generation device comprises: an area setting unit for setting the outer periphery of the intended work area and an outer periphery of a prohibited entry area on the outside of the intended work area; and a route generation unit which, for each of the reverse routes, selects as a travel route an inside reverse route by which the working machine enters the reverse route in the inward direction of the intended work area, and not an outside reverse route by which the working machine enters the reverse route in the outward direction of the intended work area, in accordance with the positional relationship between the outer periphery of the intended work area and the outer periphery of the prohibited entry area. |
