Disclosed is a semi-automatic opening and closing device for an electric folding bicycle, wherein a pedal (1) is flexibly connected with a handlebar frame (2); a seat supporting rod (6) is flexibly connected with the pedal (1); the seat supporting rod (6) is provided with a lock tongue (8); a left wheel frame (3) and a right wheel frame (4) are flexibly connected to a rear end of the pedal (1); magnets (10) are provided on a binding surface between the left wheel frame (3) and the right wheel frame (4); and a magnetic coil (11) is provided between the two attracted magnets (10). The part between the pedal (1) and the handlebar frame (2) is foldable, and the part between the wheel frames (3, 4) and the pedal (1) is foldable; and after being folded, the wheel frames (3, 4) are turned over to a bottom surface of the pedal (1), and two rear wheels (21, 22) are respectively arranged on two sides of a front wheel (13). The folding process has a high degree of automation, is convenient and labor-saving, decreases the folded volume of the bicycle to a relatively large extent, and reduces the occupied space.
