According to an embodiment of the present invention, a method used by a mobile terminal in a mobile communication system to transmit and receive signals includes the following steps: transmitting a message including request information related to an IP flow mobility (IFOM) operation to a mobility management entity (MME) or a wireless local area network (WLAN); receiving a message including information related to a IFOM control mode corresponding to the request information from the WLAN or MME; and executing the IFOM operation based on the information related to the received IFOM control mode. The method can be used to confirm a subject which can determine the traffic offloading or start the traffic offloading with respect to a terminal which can access a 3GPP network and a non-3GPP network at the same time. The method can also be used to efficiently execute a traffic offloading operation by distinguishing each traffic offloading process when two or more traffic offloading processes are executed in parallel. |
