PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a control device of electric power steering capable of executing control excellent in a non-discomfort feeling with excellent responsiveness, without requiring a large capacity-high performance ECU.SOLUTION: A control device of electric power steering comprises a motor 20 for imparting assist torque to a steering device, a torque sensor 10 for detecting steering torque of a driver and an ECU 30 for setting motor torque to be outputted by the motor 20 on the basis of the steering torque detected by the torque sensor 10. The ECU 30 records an amplification ratio gradient K being a value corresponding to a gradient of a straight line provided when plotting the amplification ratio provided by (B/A) to A, assuming the steering torque as A and motor torque as B. The ECU 30 reads out the amplification ratio gradient K when setting the motor torque, and sets the motor torque B by substituting the read-out amplification ratio gradient K and the steering torque A detected by the torque sensor 10 in an expression: K×A. |
