PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To ensure that dust can be removed from a surface to be cleaned even at an end part of a suction tool body in an inexpensive structure while an arrangement space for a belt, etc. is secured in a suction tool for a vacuum cleaner that comprises a rotary brush that is rotationally driven by an electric motor.SOLUTION: A suction tool for a vacuum cleaner comprises: a suction tool body 1 including a suction port 10; a rotary brush 11 that is rotationally driven by an electric motor, a belt, etc.; a brush cover 17 that is provided at a bottom surface part of the suction tool body 1 and constitutes the suction port 10; an outer wall part 18 that surrounds the entire circumference of the suction port 10; a lid part 16 that is included in an end part of the brush cover 17 and protects a belt part 12; and a groove 19 that is formed between the inside of the outer wall part 18 and the lid part 16. The groove 19 forms a space passage through which air flows between itself and a surface to be cleaned, and dust can be removed from the surface to be cleaned even at an end part of the suction tool body 1 by passing a sucking air flow through the space passage. |
