PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a bent passage capable of suppressing the pressure loss of a fluid as a whole if a fluid resisting object having a high resistance is connected to a downstream side of a channel.SOLUTION: A duct 3 that is a bent passage is configured so that a columnar rib 12 crossing a direction of a fluid 10 and swollen inward is formed in an outer corner portion 11 of a current plate 13 and/or a wall body 13 of a channel 10 through which a fluid passes. A fluid resisting object such as a cooler is connected to a downstream side of the channel 10. Since the columnar rib 12 can make uniform a flow velocity distribution of the fluid flowing from the duct 3 into an inlet of the cooler, it is possible to reduce the total pressure loss of the duct 3 and the cooler as compared with a conventional technique, improve the performance of the cooler, and yet improve the performance of equipment such as an engine connected to a downstream side of the cooler. |
