The invention relates to a preparation which preferably consists of colloidal oatmeal, to the use of same in the treatment of medical conditions, to cosmetic methods including use of the preparation, and to methods for producing the preparation. The preparation is particularly suitable for use in the treatment of states of irritation or inflammation comprising itchiness, redness and/or dry or cracked or open or weeping or thickened or inflamed skin, or mucosa, for outer or inner application, preferably to skin or mucosae and particularly directly to the site of the irritations or inflammations. |
