The present invention is an electric motor that can suppress electric corrosion of a bearing. A conductive shaft (30) extends along the axial direction. A plurality of bearings (41, 42) respectively have a conductive inner ring (411, 421) and a conductive outer ring (412, 422). The inner rings (411, 421) contact and are affixed to the shaft (30). The outer rings (412, 422) are rotatably affixed to the inner rings (411, 421). The plurality of bearings (41, 42) are arranged in the axial direction so as to be separated by an interval. A conductive bearing housing (50) has a cylindrical shape that surrounds the shaft (30) with a space therebetween, and contacts at least the two outer rings (412, 422) of the plurality of bearings. A stator (20) is provided so as not to be between the shaft (30) and the bearing housing (50). A rotor (10) is provided so as not to be between the shaft (30) and the bearing housing (50) and faces the stator (20) with an air gap therebetween. |
