摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electrically-driven power steering device shaft coupling mechanism capable of avoiding a radial collision of a rotary shaft against a rotation transmission member and suppressing the generation of noise that may give a driver unpleasant steering feeling.SOLUTION: A shaft coupling mechanism 1 for an electrically-driven power steering device comprises: a coupling base 3 coupled to a rotary shaft 2; a coupling base 5 coupled to a rotary shaft 4; a rotation transmission member 8 disposed between the rotary shafts 2 and 4 via the two coupling bases 3 and 5, and including a pair of rigid rotation transmission members 6 and 7 transmitting rotation in an R direction about an axial center O of the rotary shaft 2 to the rotary shaft 4; an elastic member 9 disposed between the rotation transmission members 6 and 7, and connected to the rotation transmission members 6 and 7 by axially superimposing the elastic member 9 on the rotation transmission members 6 and 7; and connection means 10 mutually connecting the paired rotation transmission members 6 and 7.
