METHOD AND APPARATUS FOR PROCESSING DATA FRAMES

The embodiments of the present invention provide a method and apparatus for processing data frames. The method for processing the data frames in the present invention includes: obtaining the data frames to be output and the adjusted length of the expected duration corresponding to the data frames, if determining and learning that duration reduction processing needs to be carried on to the data frames, determining the adjusted length of the actual duration corresponding to the data frames by combining the data length of the current cached data in the buffer and the adjusted length of the expected duration；carrying on duration reduction processing to the data frames according to the adjusted length of the actual duration, and the data frames processed with duration reduction are cached to the buffer in order that the buffer would output the cached data the duration of which reaches the frame length of the data frames. The embodiments of the present invention realize controlling a receiving end to decode the data of a frame length when the buffer outputs the data frames of a frame length, thus effectively reducing the greatest complexity of the receiving end.
