PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a novel composition for preparing a carbon dioxide external agent which can produce sufficient carbon dioxide from immediately after mixing a base composition and an acid composition and which can produce carbon dioxide sustainably, and to provide the carbon dioxide external agent and a cosmetic pack obtained by the novel composition for preparing a carbon dioxide external agent.SOLUTION: The invention provides a composition for preparing a carbon dioxide external agent consisting of a base composition containing at least carbonate, and an acid composition containing a substance producing acid by being hydrolyzed and an acidic substance.
