PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To stabilize a communication characteristic by attaining a dynamic control in contactless communication.SOLUTION: A contactless communication device capable of performing contactless communication between a primary side antenna unit 106 and a secondary side antenna unit 122 comprises: a change unit that has a function changing an antenna parameter determining an antenna characteristic between the primary side antenna unit and the secondary side antenna unit; a measurement unit that has a function measuring antenna characteristic data serving as data representing the antenna characteristic corresponding to the change in the antenna parameter; and a setting unit that has a function setting the antenna parameter suitable for the antenna characteristic on the basis of the antenna characteristic data measured by the measurement unit. After setting the optimal antenna parameter by the setting unit, normal communication is started.
