PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce erroneous determination in the case of inspecting an image.SOLUTION: An inspection device includes: an image reading part for reading each of images formed on a plurality of sheets (step S11); a featured value calculation part for, when defining any of the plurality of images read by the image reading part as a reference image and the other images as inspection target images, detecting each of one or more feature points of the reference image and the inspection target images, and for calculating the featured value of each feature point (step S13); and a determination part 103 for determining the quality of the inspection target images by collating the featured values of the respective feature points of the reference image and the inspection target images detected by the featured value calculation part 102 (steps S15, S16, and S19). The determination part searches the respective feature points of the reference image and the inspection target images whose featured values are collated for each search area with each of the pixels of the inspection target images as a center (steps S13 and S14), and determines the size of the search area in accordance with the sizes of one or more objects in the reference image. |
