<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for producing inexpensive PHA achieving a high polymer productivity, capable of optionally controlling composition of a copolyester, a method for producing PHA capable of optionally controlling the composition of 3HH of a copolyester obtained by polymerizing at least 3HB and 3HH without using an inexpensive fatty acid as a carbon source, and a method for optionally controlling the composition of 3HH of a copolyester without changing the carbon source in an incubation period. <P>SOLUTION: The method for producing PHA is characterized by culturing microorganisms producing the copolyester composed of at least two kind of components including 3HB and 3HH as monomer units in a medium including natural fat and oil and/or fractionated fat and oil, and adding a phosphorus compound into the medium in culturing. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT</p> |
