Method and architecture for comparing and merging engineering objects stored using dynamic versioning strategy

A method and comparison architecture for comparing at least one project objects with at least one versioned object in a software management system is disclosed. The method comprises a step for fetching the at least one versioned object from a plurality of versioned objects and a step for loading at least one policy in at least one memory module. The at least one policy is corresponding to a type of the at least one project object. At next step of the method disclosed in the present invention at least one engineering object is created from the at least one versioned object and the at least one policy. At the final step of the method the at least one project object and the at least one engineering object are displayed side by side or simultaneously at one or more comparison user interfaces.
