<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide forceps for an endoscopic operation, which can be easily operated even when closing a treatment part. <P>SOLUTION: The forceps 1 for the endoscopic operation include: a pair of arm-like members 4a and 4b that are crossed with each other, are pivoted and are freely turnable to a shaft 3; and a cam rod 5. The arm-like members 4a and 4b include: treatment parts 6a and 6b provided on distal end parts; outer surface cam parts 7a and 7b provided on rear end parts; and inner surface cam parts 8a and 8b. The cam rod 5 includes: a first pin 9 abutting on the outer surface cam parts 7a and 7b; and a second pin 10 abutting on the inner surface cam parts 8a and 8b.
